Apoorv Om, Deaf, an international Artist, a youth leader for inclusion, awarded with NATIONAL YOUTH AWARD 2019 by MoYA&S, GOI and National Award for Empowerment of Person with Disability 2017 by the President of India, have been invited to exhibit his innovative Artwork in the Exibition of Traditional Crafts and Artisan Meet & Expo, India International Science Festival (IISF 2021) Organised by Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India and Department of Science and Technology, Govt of India and Vigyan Bharati and Vigyan Prasar and Department of Biotechnology, Govt of India, CSIR India at Panaji, Goa from 10-13 December 2021, third time is also a Founder of Apoorv Om Artist (trust) advocates for use of Digital technology for inclusive Education in INCLUSION is a youth activist from New Delhi, India.
Mr. M Ravichandran, Secretary, Ministry of Earth Sciences, Govt of India and Head of Vigyan Prasar and other personalities of organisations GOI visited to Apoorv Om’s artwork exhibitions.
Apoorv Om has presented the portrait of Mahatma Gandhi ji to Shri Om Prakash Sakhlecha, Hon’ble Minister of Science and Technology, MSME, Govt of Madhya Pradesh and Padma Shri Vinayak Khedekar, Writer, Follklorist the inauguration of in Traditional Crafts and Artisan Meet & Expo during India International Science Festival (IISF 2021) Organization by Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India and Department of Science and Technology, Govt of India on 10-13 December 2021 at Panaji, Goa.
Apoorv Om was invited as Speaker and Lead Talk in conferences as National Science Teachers Congress 2018, and National Social Organisation & Institutions Meet 2018, and Wellness Conclave & Expo 2019, and Assistive Technology Conclave & Expo for Divyangjan 2019 on event of the INDIA INTERNATIONAL SCIENCE FESTIVAL (IISF) 2018 & 2019 organized by Ministry of Science & Technology and Earth Sciences, Government of India and Dr Harsh Vardhan Union Minister of ST & ES GOI from November 5-8, 2019 at Kolkata.
Apoorv Om advocates for using the digital technologies such as voice-to-text apps to help the differently abled people to communicate with each other and requested President of UNGA to introduce the same from the platform of UN in my meeting with Mr. Miroslav Lajcak on 9th March 2018 at UN HQ at New York and The UNGA President assured me to do the same for the sake of more accessibility, the news about this meeting was covered by a number of media of several countries from around the world and the PMDISHA also re-twitted the same. This is a meaningful effort as digital technology is better than using sign language because each country’s version of sign language is different. I believe that digital technologies can promote education in an inclusive setting for all with disabled people and the others studying together.
Apoorv Om views and ideas we’re highly appreciated by the two Presidents of United Nations General Assembly at UN HQ NY. Apoorv Om has the deaf Key-note Speaker in the Second International Conference on Youth Volungteering and Dialogue of UNESCO at Paris as well delivered my speech from UN ECOSOC Youth Forum 2019 at UN HQ, NY, and many more including IISF 2018 at Lucknow and IISF 2019 at Kolkata and conferences of Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, GOI.
